Allen's Manix Trading Post

Allen's, known to customers as The Trading Post, is one of America's few surviving general mercantile, selling everything from dry goods to groceries, fishing and hunting licenses to Native American silver jewelry. The century old general store is a journey back in time. The store's wood stove and and rustic barnwood walls create an Old West atmosphere decorated with everything from ironwork to antique Western art, including orange and black silhouettes of buckin' broncos, cowboys, and cooks.

Available at Allen's are many products and great customer service and help. We are a full-line grocery store with weekly specials, wine, beer, ice (cube and block) as well as having a Montana State Liquor Store on the premise.

Many gift items are available including souvenir items. For the outdoors person, hunting and fishing licenses are available as well as fishing gear and for the hunter, guns, ammo, holsters, etc.

The Allen family has owned the store since 1974 and Don Allen and his daughter Susan can be found at Allen's and are always willing to serve and help their customers and community.
