A lovely Big Sky Montana retreat awaits you by the banks of the beautiful Musselshell River. Mary's Place, located in central Montana, began as a wilderness homestead in the late 1890s. Mary's house originated as a two room log cabin built in the Snowy Mountains and reassembled on the river bottom. During the 1920s just as the old western town of Two Dot was booming, Mary's Place followed suit. An addition of rustic outbuildings, including the barn and sheep shed, were completed. Between 1920 and 1940 expansions to this rustic cabin included a living room, kitchen, dining area and an indoor bathroom.

Mary's house and cabins, reflecting the Old West, are now renovated and available for your vacation retreat. Mary's Place comes fully equipped with all the comforts of country living.

Inclusive with your rental is some of the finest mountain stream fishing the Big Sky state has to offer. Test your fly fishing skills on the Musselshell River fed only by mountain snows and springs. Rainbow and brown trout are plentiful.

Nature Lovers...and Bird Watchers...for you, Mary's Place is paradise! Relax, enjoy and photograph hundreds of deer, wild turkeys, eagles, Sandhill cranes, fox, ducks, geese and pheasant. Mary's Place is home to an untold number of species living in their natural habitat, unspoiled to spoil you!
