Cache boxes stashed throughout 15 square miles allows you and your family to scour this wild environment in search of hidden treasure. Cache box rewards vary to fit all ages, and can be customized to accommodate any special occasion. A few cache box rewards you can find may include opportunities to visit the Charles M. Russell museum, shop the Historical Basin Trading Post, or take home a piece of central Montana with Yogo Sapphire jewelry. Hughes Mountain Ranch Geocache adventures can lure you just a short walk from our lodge or to the peak of Woodhurst Mountain where the view of the great Judith Basin is the true reward. In addition to geocaching, detailed maps and coordinates identifying mountain biking trails, hiking trails, elk horn hunting areas, fishing holes, wildlife viewing locales, historical sites, and numerous other outdoor activities will provide ample opportunity to roam during your stay at Hughes Mountain Ranch. Hughes Mountain Ranch lodge sleeps 13 people in five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. After an adventurous day geocaching, relax and recharge in the peacefulness of the Little Belt Mountains. Directions
Hughes Mountain Ranch lodge is located 14 miles south of Stanford on Running Wolf Creek Road in the Little Belt Mountains. From Stanford on US Highway 87, turn south between miles markers 35 and 36. After about 4.25 miles, stay left on Running Wolf Creek Road and continue traveling on main gravel road for approximately 9.5 miles. Detailed maps can be emailed or sent by traditional mail.
